What’s your idea for spurring Economic Development in RI?
In early September, the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce will join with the Rhode Island Foundation in bringing together private sector leaders to continue the conversation we began earlier this summer and create a multi-faceted set of short and long-term private sector actions aimed at rekindling the Rhode Island economy, and to articulate a story or set of themes around Rhode Island’s economic development strategy.
In preparation for the event, the Rhode Island Foundation is encouraging the public to contribute to the session discussions by emailing ideas to MakeItHappenRI@rifoundation.org Submissions will be considered only if accompanied by name and contact information. Ideas must be submitted by Monday, August 27, 2012.
It is critical that as a community we remain plugged in to this crucial effort. All of the stakeholders, planning strategically and leveraging their resources, must work together to successfully grow Rhode Island’s economy. Submit your idea today!
