What A Celebration of RIBQ!

The first RIBQ Wrap Party held last night at Waterman Grille and it was a huge success!

The  interactive event is truly an extension of the magazine’s pages, created it as  a way for us to meet the people and talk more in depth about the topic that make up each issue!

In this issue of RIBQ we took a hard look at how three local companies were handling today’s economic storm. From changes in staffing to revamped marketing plans and paring of budgets, each of these business owners gave us a unique and candid look at their business plans…. Which we all can learn something from.

Last night we heard from Joyce Fastino, owner of the Personnel People, a Providence staffing firm from her boss 10 years ago.  In her presenation she shared that the last few years have brought challenges that she had never experienced before, but also great reward. We appreciate her willingness to share.

With an estimated readership of 30,000 RIBQ is a very prominent voice for the Chamber both within our membership and outside in the greater business community. We are so appreciative of our partnership with Rhode Island Monthly as we have really been able to produce a quality publication.

Special thanks to host The Waterman Grille and specifically to Sales Manager Kimberly Crawley and General Manager Corey Barriera for their efforts in coordinating the event.

Watch for information about our next Wrap Party scheduled for April!

  1. Thanks for a great evening of networking and education. LOVE the magazine. And the keynote was great. Plus, I went back the following evening (thanks for the coupon for free appetizer!) and had dinner. Everything was spectacular. I’ve been wanting to check out Waterman Grille. Thanks for making it happen.
