Learn to be a Credible Voice in RI’s Public Policy Arena

Each and every day, individuals and organizations seek to influence public policy. As Rhode Island prepares for the 2012 elections, now is the time to learn how to be a powerful and credible voice that can help shape public policy and opinion.

Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce President Laurie White and Chairman of the Board Jon Duffy will be part of a power team of Rhode Island communicators being brought together by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Southeastern New England Chapter on Wednesday, June 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Chamber (30 Exchange Terrace).  Panel members will share their wealth of experience in conducting campaigns – utilizing government and media relations, issues management, corporate social responsibility and strategic communications – all in an effort to provide attendees with lessons on advocating for a cause.
